Psyché à la Renaissance (Tours et Azay-le-Rideau).

Du 20 mai au 30 août 2009 se tiendra au château d’Azay-le-Rideau une exposition consacrée à Psyché et le désir d’éternité organisée par le Centre des monuments nationaux. Tout en déroulant l’histoire de Psyché écrite par Apulée au IIe siècle de notre ère dans l’Âne d’or, puis réécrite par Jean de La Fontaine à la fin du XVIIe siècle, l’exposition propose également une vison chronologique de l’appréhension du thème par les artistes de la Renaissance au XIXe siècle.

Une bête parmi les hommes : le chien. De la domestication à l’anthropomorphisme
